Switching between your eSIM and physical SIM

Your phone can have both your regular SIM and your SaundersRoam eSIM active at the same time. You choose which line handles data and which handles calls and texts.

Setting your data line

To use SaundersRoam for data while keeping your home number for calls and texts:

On iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > Mobile Data.
  2. Tap Mobile Data (at the top, above the list of lines).
  3. Select your SaundersRoam line.
  4. Your calls and iMessages will continue to use your primary line automatically.

On Android

  1. Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager (Samsung) or Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs (Pixel).
  2. Under Preferred SIMs, set Mobile Data to your SaundersRoam line.
  3. Keep Calls and Texts set to your primary line.

Switching back when you return home

When you get home, switch your data line back to your primary SIM:

  • On iPhone: Settings > Mobile Data > select your primary line for data.
  • On Android: SIM Manager > set your primary SIM as preferred for Mobile Data.

You can leave the SaundersRoam eSIM installed on your phone for future trips. It will not use any data when it is not set as the active data line.

Tip: There is no need to delete your SaundersRoam eSIM after a trip. Keep it installed and simply switch your data line back to your home SIM.
