All SaundersRoam plans include unlimited data for the duration of your plan's validity period. You will never be cut off or charged extra for using data.
Fair usage and speed
Each plan includes a high-speed data allowance of 3GB. Once you have used 3GB, your connection will continue to work but at a reduced speed for the remainder of your plan's validity period.
What does this mean in practice?
- For the first 3GB, you will get full-speed 4G/LTE or 5G (depending on the network in your destination).
- After 3GB, your data speed will be reduced. You will still be able to browse the web, use messaging apps, check email, and use maps, but data-heavy activities like streaming video or large downloads may be slower.
- Your data connection will not stop entirely - you will remain connected throughout your plan's validity period.
- There is no way to 'top up' speed on an existing plan. If you need more high-speed data, you can purchase a new plan.
Tip: 3GB is plenty for most travellers using messaging, maps, social media, and general browsing for a week or more. Video streaming and large downloads are the main things that eat through data quickly.
